The Golden Stage Inn is a lovely little B&B in Vermont and the owners were a joy to work with. They wanted a website that showcased their unique attributes and paid homage to their “claim to fame”, their beehives and their cookies. We updated their website and CMS using WordPress, incorporated their bees into their design and optimized their SEO.

The BillowHouse wanted to update their website and add images of their property located right off the beach. They were currently using html for their site and had no destination information for potential guests to peruse. We added destination information, images of their location and rooms, updated them to CSS and gave them a CMS that they could manage themselves. We created a website with a beach feel that the customers desired.

The Rabun County Visitor’s Bureau came to us through the owners of the Beechwood Inn. They wanted a new website for organization purposes as well as wanted more room to show off their businesses and gorgeous location.

A sister site of the Groveland Hotel, we contracted to build their website while we were updating the Groveland Hotel’s website. This website was built from scratch as the owners had not built a website yet for their property. They are a very rustic locale and wanted to show that off through their site as well as list all of the wonderful attractions and activities that surround them.

Mountain Harbour is a quaint little place on the Appalachian Trail in Tennessee. Their previous website was focused on the property. We expanded the focus to include some of the great features of the Roan Mountain, TN area. We also added gorgeous local photography that showcases the beauty that surrounds them in their mountain home. Visit their website.

The owner of this lovely wine country rental cottage had some very big website problems when she first contacted us. Through a series of issues with her prior design company, she had actually lost her own website and was running a very outdated backup of an old site. Dobaydesign was hired to get her website back up and on track. With a keen eye on the design she had loved but lost, we created our own version of the site for her.  The site was built to her specs in WordPress for ease in updating. We also added more content and gave her search engine optimization a well needed boost. This illustration was created as part of a series on consigning with this company for the website www.annsfabulousfinds.com. We have recently been invited to develop a full site redesign in 2011.

We created this print ad for Arcata’s Marimba One for a trade show recently. The ad was part of an overall theme we developed for Marimba One’s visual identity, which was rolled out at the trade show. We also created a lovely trade show banner and matching price sheets.

Although this client loved the simplicity of their former site (built by DobayDesign in 2004) it was time to update! We added gorgeous imagery of the area, really showing off the destination of Trinidad, CA. The Lost Whale has a great time with events at their Inn, so we decided to add a right sidebar featured area where they could post this information and keep it very fresh and current. It has been a highly effective solution as they continue to sell these events out on a regular basis. We also added more information about the destination, as well as their new video. The owners of the Jacksonville Inn, Jerry and Linda Evans, loved the look and feel of their Flash site but needed an update in the Search Engine Optimization department as well as more information about their wonderful location. We updated their content management system, added more information for website visitors, made the site more mobile and visitor friendly and most importantly implemented serious search engine optimization on the new site. Dobaydesign went on location and shot all the photos for the site, working closely with Pat Straube on styling and framing each picture. The goal was to produce a site that “read” like a precious photo album/travel journal from a special trip. Each detail of the site was tied in to the overall design of the property itself, resulting in a magical online experience that totally reflects the spirit of Orchard Hill Country Inn. The Honor Mansion’s redesign and rebuild was quite extensive. We upgraded the visuals and added new options for featuring content throughout the site. We increased the size and scope of the site considerably, including a whole new section on the Sonoma Wine Country. This addition has given the client a place to expand on their favorite wineries as well as allows the client to display Wine Country events and festivals in several key locations on the site. The former site was dark and dreary with tiny images and skimpy content. The new site features a ruggedly elegant design with lots of room for clever cross promotion. The new site design focused on a beautiful new graphic presentation using client’s updated logo and design style. The new site allows for cross promotion of content such as specials and packages as well. The pageviews tripled in the first three months of site life. The Beechwood Inn is located in the gorgeous wine country of Northern Georgia. This client wanted a powerful content management tool so that they could control their own website content easily. We delivered that and the end result has been terrific. Their site is packed with content and it has almost become a mini cvb site for their destination. Truly successful! Even though Ron and Cheryl had a gorgeous Inn located in gorgeous Sedona Arizona, their reservations were suffering due to a poorly designed and outdated website.  As soon as we launched the new interface, the reservations started rolling in. For this property, we went on location for a three day photo shoot. According to the innkeepers this web site paid for itself in the first thirty days that it was live! Now that’s a success story! (They have recently added more units to their property as well!)

This client approached DobayDesign with the intention of a total redesign, and we certainly delivered that. The former site was disconnected from the look and feel of the property. We built a site that showcases their fabulous photos with polished and supportive background graphics to match. The client controls everything on this site:  from the text to images, galleries even the wallpapers on individual pages.

NEWS FLASH! Maria and Dan recently re-invited Dobaydeisgn, LLC to redesign the site that they had developed for them in 2009. The NEW site is fully optimized and built on the WordPress platform. It still features great images of their beautifully appointed guest rooms. We kept all of that special content which showcases the rich array of surrounding attractions in this vibrant San Francisco neighborhood. As well as the organized content on day trips and things to do all over San Francisco and beyond. One very notable site upgrade was that we immediately started gaining traffic generated from very desireable organic keyword searches. View the site.

For the Humboldt County CVB site, search engine optimization was cranked up a notch with a comprehensive approach that pumped new content out into the world at a rapid pace. Google organic traffic increased over 300 percent when comparing stats from same time period last year’s old site to this year’s new site. The old site, while built on a database system, was seriously under-utilized for this destination marketing organization. We developed a strong information architecture inside a fun and user-friendly interface and the results have been very exciting. The Raystown team quickly learned to use Modx and now control all of their own content, adding to it on a weekly basis. The client wanted to redesign their destination marketing website because it simply did not leverage it’s content very well, in spite of using a database to organize it. DobayDesign was called in to complete this site redesign in just about three months, an aggressive turn around for the work involved. Site features a Google Events Calendar itinerary planner system that allows users to build a trip and store it in their personal Google Calendar.
